Kit graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of Southern California in 2002. She received her Masters of Science from Western Washington University in Human Movement and Performance with a specialization in Biomechanics. She specializes in custom orthotics & biomechanical evaluation/treatment of orthopedic injuries related to running, walking and cycling. Kit is internationally renowned within the cycling industry, especially her work regarding the foot-pedal interface and the biomechanics of the lower extremities in cycling.
Kit teaches continuing education with Bike Fit Systems (bikefit.com) for physical therapists and medical professionals throughout the country and works as a consultant within the cycling industry. She has presented at several international bike fit symposiums including the International Cyclefit Symposium (ICS 2012) in London and the SICI International Cycling Science Symposium in 2007 and 2008. She also guest lectured within the University of Washington Physical Therapy Department for gait and orthopedics.
Kit spends her free time with her husband and 3 children. They love cycling, climbing and generally getting dirty outside. Happy Pedals!
